While participating in the tournament, students will see six different puzzles: Kakooma, NumTanga, Math Limbo, Number Buddies, Place Value Palooza and Match Matrix. The difficulty of each puzzle depends on the specific grade level chosen. For each puzzle solved, students will receive one point, which will be added to both their individual account total, as well as their class total. There is no penalty for answering incorrectly.
Kakooma
Find the fact family in each mini-puzzle. When a fact family is found, click on the 3 numbers that make up the fact family. The game is won when all mini-puzzles are solved.
NumTanga
Find the match between each pair of adjacent cards. When a match is found, click on the matching values from both cards. The game is won when all matches have been found.
Math Limbo
Make the target value on the left using the numbered circle(s) on the board. Hurry before all of the strings snap! The game is won when all numbered circles have been eliminated.
Number Buddies
Match each clue on the left with a number on the right. When a match is found, click on the clue & number to create a link. The game is won when all matches have been found.

Using the frames, create the target number with base ten disks by clicking on the empty cells to fill it. The game is won when the target number has been modeled correctly.
